trevor many years ago i owned 2 burger vans. ther used to be good money to be made. but even up here in haggis land the people well some of them seam to be watching what they eat.also up to ther necks in dept. ie  big mortgage to pay and making ther own sannies is about finished that game. i sold burgers for£1.70 peter . knew another vendor whom had vans at ibrox celtic park, and murry field . at the football the same burgers that i was selling for £1.70 he was selling them for £3.50. and at the rugby it was £4.50 no wonder he is a millionaire . next door neigbour in formed me to day that he has type 2 diabetes. hes about same age as me. (quiet chap) whom also informed me that i have a burst water pipe and its running into his garden. waiting on plumber . enjoy your trip on wed trevor atb charlie

Just a little thing today. At last I've been able to take the previous owners private reg off (with rubbish self-advertising plates made up by the selling garage), and replaced them with the smarter plates I had made up with the original number on.......

I think they're much smarter, with the matching black badge down the left side.

Wow haha,

 

for a minute there I thought you was on your dining room floor haha.

 

So is that a different grill Chris, or Black over chrome??? if the chrome one, what's the primer?

Thanks Stan. I'm pleased with the job. Up close you can see it doesn't have the full factory reflective shine, but for a rattle can job it's quite good.

 

It's black over the chrome Bryn. The primer was the readily available Plastikote stuff. And a good job it did too.

 

Here it is fitted...

Thanks Peter. I have a reputation round the doors for keeping my cars clean. I do like a shiny, shiny car.

Same here, I like to think that people think i've made the effort to make the car as clean as possible just for them if I take them anywhere . The wife teases me about it, but making the effort makes me feel good.
