Just been under the car giving it a clean behind the rear wheels (off side) got the wire brush out and WOW on the tubular rear subframe, the part that holds the upper wishbone...GOT a Hole about the size of a Half-Crown...that dates me doesn't it?

What to do got brake pipes in the vicinity?

Is this a Known so to speak.

Is it weldable...is it scrap!

is it dangerous...looks it

Any advice much appreciated

Getting mine inspected and Oil sprayed next Monday, will report back as to the condition. A little worried now!

Collected the car last night, full under carriage inspection and waxoyled. No problems reported. New front brake pads fitted to boot.Considering myself extremely lucky considering what Brian and Keith have got to contend with.

Certainly was Graham, I was on tenter hooks all of Monday.

I've just noticed on your post you have a foot note, the 'Best Regards' bit. How did you get that and can you put pics in it?
