main beam won't turn off

Main beam comes on automatically when lights switched on... won't turn off, any thoughts

Welcome to the Club, Brian.

 

Probably a fault on the switch.

 

Have you tried using the flash on the light stalk when the lights are switched off?  

 

There might be other who have experienced this problem who will assist.
