Thanks for all the welcoming introductions, just getting the car ready for a trip to Paris next week. Assuming Calais doesn't shut!!

My trip around France and Belgium went great. 1200miles averaging an awe inspiring 27 mpg!! Travelled to Chateau Chantilly and there was a classic car show on, I was parked in the ancient vehicles section, pah! Parked next to a rather nice 80's Daimler and near the entrance so some good news. Around Paris outskirts before heading to Ypres and the Battlefield Cemeteries. To top off the week, epic day at Goodwood Revival. Just shows when Insu turn around and say your 19 year old car will struggle with that kind of journey, they obviously never had a jag!!

Anyone ever wondering whether to do Goodwood Revival, don't wonder, just do. It is awesome! Never seen 20 D - types just parked up in a line.

Just talked my other half into it, however in all honesty that didn't take much doing, as her answere was "wondered what took you so long, your always going on about it..."

pain free.

I might try for it myself.  First step, Get into good books, paint something or dig some garden, then talk about it for three days  and it might work.
