Hi all, owned my dream Mk2 for at least 10 days now and still can't believe it's mine. Needs a few bits sorting and hope I can find a little help and guidance here.

Welcome to the Club, Kevin.

 

There was a restoration job on a Mk 2 on Wheeler Dealers which you will be able to get on You Tube.  It could give you some ideas.

 

I hope my car become a Mk 3 one day!

 

We hope to come to Ireland with our car next year to visit the home of our ancestors.
