cruise control fault please help

I seem to have a fault with my cruise control.

it works when it feels like it and sometimes it wont cancel from the button on the steering wheel when it is working.

sometimes when I go to engage it I get a message on the display that says cruise not available.

sometimes nothing at all no message just wont engage.

this is an intermittent fault and doesn't do it all the time.

any ideas what this can be ?

I sounds like a loose electrical connection or a fuse that is faulty/needs cleaning.

I had same problem. Replaced cruise control switch pack, about £60 - sorted.
