Charlie,

Since when have women been allowed the vote? why haven't I been told about this, I'm shocked !

She'll be welcome in Devon though Charlie , but she needn't bring a caravan, my friend has hundreds of the things !

A big thanks to all for making me feel welcome, making me laugh and offering advice.

I think I'm going to like it here. I moved to the Cotswolds about two years ago so only another eighteen years and the locals just might start to except me? Trouble is my knuckles are some way off the floor, I can breath through my nose and I don't fancy my sister so I could be wrong

Thanks again guys

Hi Phil,

I will add my welcome to those of others.

I hope you will like it here.  We try to stay a bit friendly and while it sometimes it strays away from the topic, the new members introductions is there so that you can get a feel of the other members and they of you.  So that is goodI

I was pushed a bit from some of my colleagues to live in the Cotswolds when I was requested [told] that I was being moved by my employers from Derbyshire to the Midlands, and must admit that I was tempted to do so.  My offices were in Sutton Coldfield and I did not fancy the drive of about 45 miles each way every day.  Plus I didn't think the staff in the Office would take kindly to the Boss living so far away,  So I bought a house 500 yards from the office, and even after retirement 15 years ago we are still here.

I hope you still enjoy the club!

Regards

Peter.

bryn my nite cap for over 20years was scottish water. but it made me into a raging bull. doctor was sending me to anger management classes, so i switched to russian water instead. the world is a happier place for it. and the hangovers are not half as bad. (can only drink 4bottles then i have to go to bed) charlie
