Hi, fairly new to jags(s type 3.0 v6) and wanting some advice, recently blew my gearbox(auto) and looking for alternatives. Is it possible to do a manual conversion, anyone done it? as i have a manual box laying around or would it be cheaper to Source a manual engine and box? Figurę while i cant drive it is a good time to improve it

The S Type is a nice car, and is not meant to be doing nothing.

 

I am not an engineer, but I see no reason why a manual conversion could be done as long as the person doing it has the skills and desire.

 

I could be totally wrong, though!!  There are quite a few members with mechanical savvy, though, and indeed several enthusiasts who have their own garages who will assist with some very good advice.
