Good for you Den, very nice! I think your donor could be the same colour as mine, are you breaking her or just hanging onto the bits 'just in case'?

I'm not really desperate for anything but there are some interior parts from a manual handbrake / pre facelift one that could come in useful. Plus the under front bumper panel (spoiler / splitter?) has seen better days on mine, if yours was good and going spare at any point

Cheers, Russ

PS. Once I have my wheels and tyres done and a decent valet, I'll post some pictures...

Here is mine.

i don't really like these wheels and will get some more but I'm currently having a bit of a pre-midlife crisis and just bought a 1972 Triumph GT6... haha only problem is I am 6'3

Hey Tim,

I had a 71 GT6 MKII back in the late 80's, I remember it being a fantastic looking thing, but handling and comfort left a bit to be desired. Poor mans E-Type apparently ;)

Cheers, Russ

My first S Type 4.2 V8 (Previous Jaguars over the years: 1987 XJ6, 2002 X Type 3.0 V6 Auto, 2005 X Type 3.0 V6 manual estate)

Not keen on the style of wheels, multispoke Mercury's might be an alternative

Had Powerflow stainless end cans fitted and a lovely  V8 low burble is produced

Hi Russ,

Haha yeah i definitely can't afford an e-type sadly, handling isn't too bad on the mkIII but when i get into my s-type i feel like I'm in my lounge haha and i have to be careful not to turn the string wheel to much haha

Hi Jim,

I fancied that colour but when I saw this one I couldn't resist and I needed a car quickly.

Regards.

Peter

I have had my s type SE [2.7D.] for just over seven years and with 85k miles done mostly by me.

Exterior - Indigo Blue.

Interior - Dove Grey,

I was able to get and price the optional extras which came to £11,094 and which don't include Jaguar Voice and a TV, neither of which I would have chosen

Peter.
