Hi everyone.  I am just about to pick up my first Jag, a 2008 (57) pre-facelift 2.2D Sovereign.  I was wondering if anybody could give me ideas on what I should be weary of or look deeper at when picking up the car.  I was hoping for a later, post-facelift model in the hope that any gremlins might have been ironed out, but they were all outside of my price range or had too high mileage.  As I haven't yet parted with most of the money, any help would be greatly appreciated.

some have had key problems  and electric problems but a lot of this was sorted out

also clutch failure was a problem if you are buying the car from a dealer get a good warranty

I have had a 2.2 with no problem's  please don't be put off they are a great car and 95

% will go on for a very long time without a hiccup best of luck
