Buzzer on when key inserted

Hi!   When key inserted into ignition pos 1 or pos 2 buzzer sounds for a few seconds then stops!   Only started to occur today!   Any suggestions?      "Beeping" seems to be located in boot area!   Thanks,Rew

Hi Andrew, and welcome to the Club.

 

There are various audible warnings on start up, but my handbook for the s type only mentions a chime or tone.   The only thing I can guess at is Memory configuration saved.  But that is for an s type.

 

But x type owners might be able to give some more concrete answers.
