I had a tyre check about a month ago, to confirm my own check, and  the rear tyres have plenty of miles left on them.  The front tyres had 2.6mm on one tyre and 3.2mm on the other.  I have decided to change the front tyres next month and am doing the usual check for best price.

I currently  have Pirelli P Zero Assimetrico with a Y rating which are priced at around £150 each.  However, I have also seen a PZero with a Z rating, which should not be used if you intend to drive over 150mph.  They are priced at about £130. The Y rated tyres are good for up to 186mph.

Has anyone had experience of Z rated tyres?

Peter.
