Hello,

Received I nice link to share with all about how many Jaguars were sold over years:

http://raycee1234.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/jaguar-production-by-model.html

but I would like to find more accurate details of How many X-Type Diesel Estate (2.0 and 2.2) after 2008 and before July 2009 were manufactured? Anybody know where to look?

How many were exported and how many stayed in UK/Ireland?

Regards,

Luks

Not too sure how you would get to know how many X types of any particular model were manufactured other than a direct request to Jaguar Customer Relations Department at Coventry.

To see how many are left registered of any particular model or year try http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk but I warn you, you'll end up wasting hours of your life that you'll never get back, looking at all the old models of car that you used to own! Caveat emptor- use at your own risk!  ;)

I did have a look at the Jaguar s type and x type report history, and found that about 40% of both models went to the uSA, with x type 3.0 litre AWD being quite popular in the North Eastern states, and the S type being popular in Arizona and California.  I did see an S type in Phoenix once [silver 3.0 litre].

But remember that Ford who owned the marque at the time were far better engineers that record keepers.
