I've had a 2006 XK virtually all it's life. I have a new parking space which exposes it to the elements (and birds) far moire than it's used to. I can't find a cover on the jaguar.com website, can anyone recommend what's best? Thanks.

It all depends on the  type of cover you need for your car, Stuart. I got one from my local car accessory shop just for protecting against frost, which is does, and stops bird dropping getting on your car.  It is only a top half cover, and cost about £25.

Just google in the words "car cover" and you will find a whole range. You will need one for a large car, as mostly the sizes are small, medium & large.

I covered my old Triumph Vitesse with a cheap cover when it sat on the patio for a couple of years. When time came to move it, I found that the cover had worn the paint off of all the high spots! Admitedly it was in a place where the wind funneled down the side of the house and blew the cover around. I'd be tempted to go for one of the covers with a fluffy, paint protecting finish on the inside, or even better, one of those 'folding garage' things where the frame keeps the cover off the bodywork. A quick google search also revealed a few options for large lined car covers.

I have a cover which is supposed to be designed for the XKR, mine is a 2002 convertible and the cover has never come out of the boot due to the fact I have a large garage. PM if interested
