Well someone has to kick this off I guess.

Currently, own a JLR 4x4 from the Land Rover stable and am picking up a new one in 4 weeks time, but have already registered my interest in the CX-17 as was and the now F-Pace.

I moderate over on the RR Forums

For now it's just a case of waiting to hear from Jaguar on developments.

Looking forward to what develops.

Forgot to say looking forward to greeting some of my LR friends on to here as well.

No doubt, they will be along soon.

Hmmmm if Andrew has got an F pace already then he's doing well as it's not out yet. Having driven prototype versions at work on a number of occasions now i can tell you if you like SUV/crossover type cars then you will not be dissapointed with this when it is released.

There's no real info on this other than what the motoring press have intimated (£30k start price). It will be similar I guess to Evoque pricing which goes all the way up to £55k plus which is ITRO my RRE.

I was at a Jaguar event at the newly acquired Fenn End proving ground (Experience Center) and made enquiries about the F-Pace.

They couldn't tell me anything, but there should be some news at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show September 15.

Well the car was publicly launched this week.

JLR have a configurator up and running.

There is a special First Edition model priced at C£65k, but being familiar with JLR products and their options, I think it's a no no for me.

I will have a look at the S V6 diesel, which measures up closely to my Range Rover.

If only we could see a production car, I hate this ordering an unknown vehicle, though I have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

New member here, so hello to everyone.

I also am a fellow LR owner currently driving a 2015 RR Sport but had already registered my interest a while ago with a deposit placed a week after its launch. Whilst the limited edition is nice and would probably have got it despite the huge list of unnecessary options I couldn't have lived with the light interior, tried that before and it was a disaster.

Hoping Apr/May delivery.

Welcome to the Club, Robert.

I live relatively near to the JLR Plants, and sometimes see a new model "in disguise" --  but not this one.

£65k You can get an Audi SQ5 Fully loaded for less than that! Plus the 0-60 dash is quicker than the diesels Jaguar offer. 1st production run vehicles are always problematic and owners are used as guinea pigs to iron out niggles?

I used to work with a chap who bought a new car every 3 or 4 years.  He usually bought Ford or Vauxhalls and always bought one when the new updated model was announced  BUT he never bought the new one, always getting the one at the end of its run.

The company car I had when I retired was a Toyota Avensis delivered to me in August 1998 and which I bought at a very good price.  Terrible steering, no real power from the engine, poor petrol economy, and awful upholstery and trim  ------   all of which were changed by Toyota in 2001.

I  retired in 1999 and at the beginning of 2000 I bought a Rover 825 Sterling with all the bells and whistles and a very low mileage.  Hardly ever a problem. It had been the MD's car from a main dealer and the Rover 75 was already on the road. I kept it till 2011.

My S Type is one of the last produced and I have not had a problem in the two and a half years I have had it.

Rushing out to buy any new model  is not always  the best thing to do.

Hello Peter

Thanks for the warm welcome .. been to the dealers today and they remain confident of a Sept delivery, I must say the more I look at them the more I like them. I had a chance today to look underneath one, they seem very well built and chunky suspension parts
