I have discovered a potentially dangerous steering fault with my new S Type.

It seems to want to turn into every golf club it passes ;)

Have the same problem, found the only cure is to always have clubs in the boot and accepte the inevitable or to fully cure always have the wife in the passenger seat.

My Rover used to do that, too.

I have not taught my Jaguars to do that as my knees are now too bad and my back aches after 14 holes.

Sorry to hear about the knees and back pete, how about using your organisational skills to organise a jag club golf society, could just imagin u marshaling us all around the course from a buggy as well as teaching your cat a new trick.

Good to hear a little banter chaps, keep it up

Banter???

I was being serious...ish Kenny ;)

I didn't realize that there was a hidden expense in buying a Jaguar, to whit:- sets of clubs, golf, for the use of, one.

Now I know why there's that little hatch from the boot to the cabin.

Not a bad idea, Thomas.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time anymore.

Someone with a Club Membership, good contacts, and the time would be ideal, though.

I haven't got that little hatch on my s type, Paul, thought I still have a full set of clubs [inc 2 iron for use at Tettenhall] and one of those ceramic Drivers for use at the Belfry.   The Belfry is now too expensive for pensioners, and I only used to play there when invited to a Company function.

Think I will consider organising a golf day in nottingham (oakmear park) in september if any one is interested in principle, cant be to hard to get a few hole sponsors a good round and a meal should be around £40, lets stick it out there and see what happens

Hi Thomas,

Good idea.

I will come along provided the day is suitable  ---  in a non playing capacity.  I have not played for 10 years but I have missed the club atmosphere.

Regards,

Peter.

Will you boys keep it down?

I've spent the last two years convincing mine that it's a GT car for long fast trips across the continent and not a golf cart and now you've all gone and reminded it!

Thanks guys!
