Arm rest centre console removal

Hello there would anyone out there be able to give me info as to how I remove the arm rest centre console on my S type jaguar model year 2000 so an early one, as I need to replace the cup holder and the ash tray, I am finding it hard to find good info as to its removal, any help would be greatly appreciated many thanks to everyone out there.

Hi Lance,

 

My s type eis a later model, but I have had a look inside the centre console, and there are two screws --  you will need a special screwdriver/small allen key -- to remove them.  One is front right under the cupholder  and the other is at the rear left.

 

But as I say, mine is a letter model and it could be different on yours.
