Chrome trim around doors

The chrome trim around the doors on my S Type looks like it is sort of tarnished but nothing I've tried will bring it up to standard.

 

Please can anybody advise?

Can't advise from personal experience as my s type is a de-chromed one but apparently it is a common issue and difficult to put right. (sorry)

Hi Paul,

 

I have a similar problem.  I have tried Solvol Autosol without success.

 

My only solution would be paint them the colour of your car :D

I have just seen the effect of using T-Cut on the trim strips chaps and it seems amazing :)

Never thought of using T Cut.
