Hi everyone bit of a stupid question

I have a jaguar s-type 2001 3L.V6 SE AUTO

Well I just wondered what the SE stands for

Hi Andy thanks for the link but I wanted to know what the SE means does it mean special edition, standard edition, sports edition, silly edition, smooth egg everywhere I've looked it says SE and I wanted to know what the SE stands for

Hey Dus,

 

I've always taken SE to mean Special Equipment, and I echo your thoughts. I love my Jag, what a machine and what lot of car for the money, outrageous!

Hi Russ have to agree I think I got a good deal with mine I got a large car smooth ride great slippy slidey wweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee seats (as my neice likes to call them) she is only 2 all for a staggering £620 lol

Wow, that is a bargain c2% of the original buy price!

 

I got a good deal on mine to, but it had to be Sport spec and a manual, so I paid a bit more than that. She's  a 2001 '51 plate and now drives beautifully. It had a nasty flat spot that was cured by new plugs and coil packs and now goes like a rocket if she needs to :)

 

I'm less happy with the 4 different tyre manufacturers on each corner, and eventually I'll replace all the brakes, shockers and upgrade to polybushes, so the handling is as it should be.
