Just completed my first road trip with my 2.2 D jag. Such a smooth ride with great handling. The mpg would have been above 50 instead of 49.9 but i spent about 100 miles out of 500 driving in the Wicklow Mountains. 500 miles on 3/4 tank is fantastic by my normal standards in my Discovery 2 :).

Hi Ken,

 

Driving in the countryside in Ireland are much more relaxing than  in England.  We have just come back from a week in Ireland and got 46.2 mpg with my s type.
