X300 Gearbox Warning Lamp

Hello.

 

I have this light permanently on at the moment having jump starting my XJ6 4l after 5 weeks. The power also seems to have depleted a little. On-line it says that this is often caused by an engine stall and that the engine management system knows that something does not add up!
