A good Monday to everyone!

Just a short message to encourage anyone who has not yet signed up for our great Jaguar event, to consider signing up or risk missing a fantastic free Jaguar day out that you, your Jaguar, and family will enjoy :-)

We have freebies, samples, discounts, & information all free on the day and all pertinent to you looking after your Jaguar. We have one venue with 20% discount on Costa, a convoy, a great fixed price breakfast at the second venue. We have four companies on site to meet you, and discuss any problems or issues you have with your car. We even have a prize draw where you can win a number of must-have items for you and your car. On top of this we have a professional car event photographer taking great shots of us and our cars, banner signing for posterity, and group photo shoots.

And this is all FREE to sign up for, and to attend.. the only costs being the parking in Madiera Drive, & the fixed price breakfast!!

This event will be taking place on 29th May 2016 - with the main venue being Madiera Drive on the Brighton seafront as usual.

It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event, and I am working on gaining much more industry support than previously, and ensuring that everyone has a fantastic day to remember.

The initial meeting point will be Pease Pottage Services, with an indoor area aset aside for us and 20% discount on anything from Costa (remember to say you are with the JaguarForums.com event to get your discount) to help get your day started. The Welcome Packs will be handed out at this point, and the main features of the day covered.

Then there will be a convoy down to the Brighton seafront creating a huge Jaguar statement with up to 100 cars, all setting up camp in one huge parking block in Madiera Drive.

There will be a fixed price breakfast laid on for attendees on arrival in Brighton, at a cost of £4.99 for the recommended (two of everything :-)) breakfast, plus drinks at individual prices or £2.60 for unlimited drinks. We are booked in the Harvester in Madiera Drive - remember to say you are with the JaguarForumns.com event when ordering.

The only other cost for the day is the parking which is likely to be £3.20 for one hour, £5.20 for 2 hours, £10.40 for 4 hours or £15.60 for 11 hours (Brighton Council are reviewing the rates in April though ).

CaptainHam has suggested setting up & using the pay by phone parking app on your phone prior to the day (saves fishing around in pockets for change, or in this case, notes)

The main meet will follow on from then with as much going on as I can pull together for us including a free prize draw for a number of must-have goodies, industry reps (see Industry Attendees list below to see who will have reps onsite) for you to quiz with problems, discounts etc etc. Not forgetting that this is your chance to meet up with all the people you know online, maybe advise them on any issues you have solved or figured and for others to help you out with any issues and to check out up to 100 Jaguars including the new Jaguar F-Pace AWD!!

With our event rapidly approaching, here is this weeks summary for you:

We currently have:

54 vehicles and 88 people signed up so far

For the first time ever we have an official event support vehicle

We have an official event photographer with fantastic credentials

Fourteen major sponsors supporting us plus an advertising sponsor (many many thanks to them for their continued & ongoing support)

Four sponsors have confirmed they will have representatives on site to answer your sales, servicing, lubricant and transmission questions

Four companies have agreed to list the event as an official event in their calendars

Our VisitBrighton tourist website, DriveAddiction.com, Carphile.com, & Brighton Argus events page entries are up online along with our advertisement in the Friday Ad and mentions in the Brighton Argus.

On top of all this for the first time ever we now have guaranteed available discounted accomodation for attendees who are travelling some distance to attend!

Our forum threads have reached 40,000 hits!! Incredible interest in our event - thankyou everyone for your support, sponsorship, or just following us as we approach the 29th of May!

The earliest Jaguar we have coming is from 1966 and the most recent Jaguar not even out of the showroom yet!

We have 50 years of Jaguar production covered including not one but two E-Types there in the flesh, plus we will likely have The JagGallery E-Type make a showing too!

We even have lubricant, automatic transmission, sales, and servicing specialists onsite to answer your questions or queries!

This event will be taking place on 29th May 2016 - with the main venue being Madiera Drive on the Brighton seafront as usual.

It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event, and I am working on gaining much more industry support than previously, and ensuring that everyone has a fantastic day to remember.

The initial meeting point will be Pease Pottage Services, with an indoor area aset aside for us and 20% discount on anything from Costa (remember to say you are with the JaguarForums.com event to get your discount) to help get your day started. The Welcome Packs will be handed out at this point, and the main features of the day covered.

Then there will be a convoy down to the Brighton seafront creating a huge Jaguar statement with up to 100 cars, all setting up camp in one huge parking block in Madiera Drive.

There will be a fixed price breakfast laid on for attendees on arrival in Brighton, at a cost of £4.99 for the recommended (two of everything :-)) breakfast, plus drinks at individual prices or £2.60 for unlimited drinks. We are booked in the Harvester in Madiera Drive - remember to say you are with the JaguarForumns.com event when ordering.

The only other cost for the day is the parking which is likely to be £3.20 for one hour, £5.20 for 2 hours, £10.40 for 4 hours or £15.60 for 11 hours (Brighton Council are reviewing the rates in April though ).

CaptainHam has suggested setting up & using the pay by phone parking app on your phone prior to the day (saves fishing around in pockets for change, or in this case, notes)

The main meet will follow on from then with as much going on as I can pull together for us including a free prize draw for a number of must-have goodies, industry reps (see Industry Attendees list below to see who will have reps onsite) for you to quiz with problems, discounts etc etc. Not forgetting that this is your chance to meet up with all the people you know online, maybe advise them on any issues you have solved or figured and for others to help you out with any issues and to check out up to 100 Jaguars including the new Jaguar F-Pace AWD!!

This event will be taking place on 29th May 2016 - with the main venue being Madiera Drive on the Brighton seafront as usual.

It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event, and I am working on gaining much more industry support than previously, and ensuring that everyone has a fantastic day to remember.

The initial meeting point will be Pease Pottage Services, with an indoor area set aside for us and 20% discount on anything from Costa (remember to say you are with the JaguarForums.com event to get your discount) to help get your day started. The Welcome Packs will be handed out at this point, and the main features of the day covered.

Then there will be a convoy down to the Brighton seafront creating a huge Jaguar statement with up to 100 cars, all setting up camp in one huge parking block in Madiera Drive.

There will be a fixed price breakfast laid on for attendees on arrival in Brighton, at a cost of £4.99 for the recommended (two of everything :-)) breakfast, plus drinks at individual prices or £2.60 for unlimited drinks. We are booked in the Harvester in Madiera Drive - remember to say you are with the JaguarForumns.com event when ordering.

The only other cost for the day is the parking which is likely to be £3.20 for one hour, £5.20 for 2 hours, £10.40 for 4 hours or £15.60 for 11 hours (Brighton Council are reviewing the rates in April though ).

CaptainHam has suggested setting up & using the pay by phone parking app on your phone prior to the day (saves fishing around in pockets for change, or in this case, notes)

The main meet will follow on from then with as much going on as I can pull together for us including a free prize draw for a number of must-have goodies, industry reps (see Industry Attendees list below to see who will have reps onsite) for you to quiz with problems, discounts etc etc. Not forgetting that this is your chance to meet up with all the people you know online, maybe advise them on any issues you have solved or figured and for others to help you out with any issues and to check out up to 100 Jaguars including the new Jaguar F-Pace AWD!!

With our event rapidly approaching, here is this weeks summary for you:

We currently have:

60 vehicles and 97 people signed up so far

For the first time ever we have an official event support vehicle

We have an official event photographer with fantastic credentials

Fourteen major sponsors supporting us plus an advertising sponsor (many many thanks to them for their continued & ongoing support)

Five companies have confirmed they will have representatives on site to answer your sales, servicing, lubricant and transmission questions

Four companies have agreed to list the event as an official event in their calendars

Our VisitBrighton tourist website, DriveAddiction.com, Carphile.com, & Brighton Argus events page entries are up online along with our advertisement in the Friday Ad and mentions in the Brighton Argus.

On top of all this for the first time ever we now have guaranteed available discounted accomodation for attendees who are travelling some distance to attend!

I have just been reviewing last years event and we are getting close to matching last years event!

We now have 60 Jaguars signed up compared to the 64 Jaguars that were signed up for last years event and we still have three months to go :-)

If you know of anyone with a Jaguar - be it a rare classic or like my X-Type, the school run taxi for the kids please get them to sign up for our great event - it is a great day out for them, their Jag, and their family and not to be missed :-)

This event will be taking place on 29th May 2016 - with the main venue being Madiera Drive on the Brighton seafront as usual.

It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event, and I am working on gaining much more industry support than previously, and ensuring that everyone has a fantastic day to remember.

The initial meeting point will be Pease Pottage Services, with an indoor area set aside for us and 20% discount on anything from Costa (remember to say you are with the JaguarForums.com event to get your discount) to help get your day started. The Welcome Packs will be handed out at this point, and the main features of the day covered.

Then there will be a convoy down to the Brighton seafront creating a huge Jaguar statement with up to 100 cars, all setting up camp in one huge parking block in Madiera Drive.

There will be a fixed price breakfast laid on for attendees on arrival in Brighton, at a cost of £4.99 for the recommended (two of everything :-)) breakfast, plus drinks at individual prices or £2.60 for unlimited drinks. We are booked in the Harvester in Madiera Drive - remember to say you are with the JaguarForumns.com event when ordering.

The only other cost for the day is the parking which is likely to be £3.20 for one hour, £5.20 for 2 hours, £10.40 for 4 hours or £15.60 for 11 hours (Brighton Council are reviewing the rates in April though ).

CaptainHam has suggested setting up & using the pay by phone parking app on your phone prior to the day (saves fishing around in pockets for change, or in this case, notes)

The main meet will follow on from then with as much going on as I can pull together for us including a free prize draw for a number of must-have goodies, industry reps (see Industry Attendees list below to see who will have reps onsite) for you to quiz with problems, discounts etc etc. Not forgetting that this is your chance to meet up with all the people you know online, maybe advise them on any issues you have solved or figured and for others to help you out with any issues and to check out up to 100 Jaguars including the new Jaguar F-Pace AWD!!

There are three more months of work to go until the day of our Brighton event, and I am hopeful we can maybe just manage my aim of 100 Jags/50 Years..

The event has a fair number of followers on it's Twitter feed including some big industry names, it has an event page on Facebook where non forum people are keeping an eye on it, and our master forum thread is mirrored across two other Jaguar specific forums, and one general automotive forum..

We have 14 sponsors supplying everything from showroom cars to look over, discounted & guaranteed availability of local accomodation, product range discounts, samples, vouchers, prize draw prizes you will wonder how you managed without, banner signing, professional event photography, through to a support vehicle in case of any problems, and even industry specialists onsite to answer all your queries about your prized Jaguar.

We have even managed to persuade a contingent to attend from the Netherlands with some gorgeous Jags, as well as attendees from most areas of the UK. The oldest car signed up is only four years younger than me, and I am definately no spring chicken..
