Hi,

I have had my 4.2 S-Type for quite a while now and cant see it going.   I have previously owned an X308 XJR which was amazing and I still regret selling it.  I love the marque full stop.

Since owning the car I have had to replace the AC unit (common fault I gather).  Other than that its been very good to me.

I replaced the tatty split rims with some XF 20" wheels which just and I mean just fit, with the need of a 2-3mm spacer on the backs.  The exhaust has been modified with a customer stainless system which is pretty evident if your near by  :o .  The only other thing I have changed is the panel filter, replacing it with a made to order ITG version.

My other car and daily driver is a Subaru Legacy BH5 GTB.  That fulfills my manual turbo itch  :)

Hello Geoffrey and welcome to the Jaguar Owners Club.

You have a really nice looking SType and I like your choice of wheel they suit it very well.

Welcome to the Club, Geoffrey

I just love the S type too   --   Grace, Pace and Space  -- as Sir William lots said.  Even my humble 2.7 litre Diesel has those qualities.

I have had mine for two years and three months, an it has been very good to me, and I think I return the compliment  ---  the best fuel and plenty of TLC.

Regards,

Peter.
