Just purchased a s type 3.0 v6 X reg apart from giving it a full service and changing gearbox Oil and filters is there anything else i should do have no service history also what Oil should I use for engine and gear box

Hi Derek, and welcome to the club.

 

Jaguar recommend 5W - 30 viscosity  engine Oil for my 2007 S Type Diesel.

 

I would suggest that you have a look at Opie Oils website --  they are members of the club  -- who will be able to tell you what oils they recommend for your model.
