HI Michelle, and welcome to the club.

You can put air in your tyres without an extension kit.  The pressure should be 32psi all round.  But an extension kit can be obtained from Amazon for £2.04. The tube is screwed on to the valve and just makes the connection with the tyre valve easier.

I use an electric tyre inflator which I keep in the car - Halfords or a good garage shop will sell them.  You plug it in to the power point in the car, connect it to the tyre and start the engine.  !0 minutes - Job done!

All garages should have a good air pump, and I am certain someone will give you a hand if you have never done the job before.

Peter.

Hi Michelle,

My wheels are alloy too but yours must have different valves.  I will look up the site  later and give you a link.

You might find what you are looking for on eBay but you will have to get the UK site.  $77 dollars is quite a lot of money, and shipping costs are always high.

I took and x type part to Loughrea near Galway earlier this year for a member to avoid shipping costs.

Regards,

Peter.

I have just looked up "Tyre valve extension kit" on google and it came up with the Amazon site plus pictures of the bit you want.

Lete me know how you get on.

Peter.
