Hi, I am struggling to come to terms with having two cars with the indicator stalk on the right of the steering wheel and the Jag with it on the left.  I just get used to one way and then I drive a different car and am continually turning on the wipers each time I want to indicate a turn and vice versa.

Does any one know if there is a way to swap the indicator and wiper control stalks on the S-Type?

I realised they are specifically shaped for the original side but is there any way this swap can be done?

 

Not really possible I think.

The indicators on the left are "Euro" standard introduced in the early eighties iirc.

Anything built outside of Europe, ie Hyundai and such like aren't governed by this.

It put me off buying a Hyundai tuscon a few years back because I kept putting the wipers on during the test drive.

Somethings you just get used to without realising.
