Hi - Just bought front spline hubs to convert my mk2 to wire wheels and hit 2 problems:

 

1) Holes for bolts too close to spline body so a bolt won't tighten properly

2) Wheel rests against grease nipple. So the wheel will in fact be tightened against this grease nipple!

 

Anybody else experienced this? Am I missing something or are these hubs rubbish?!
