I've used K Seal successfully on an MGF and unsuccessfully / temporary seal only on a Discovery. If it's a 'get you home / emergency fix' K Seal is worth thinking about, but much better to identify the leak and repair properly. You'll need to be aware the K Seal could bung up bits you don't want bunged up, but you're an experienced guy Andy and I'm sure you've considered it. As mentioned I had a small coolant leak on the MGF I couldn't get to or identify about 5 years ago, the K Seal sorted it and doesn't appear to have given any repercussions. Hope this helps ;)

Hi

Ive used it to get me home before, but i don't think i'd use it in my jag, I'd have it recovered first.

it works well if the leak is in the radiator and seals it quite good

but if its one of your hoses leaking the it won't seal usually, they expand too much with pressure

cheers

I've borrowed a coolant pressure tool of a mate and have initially identified a metal pipe that runs under the radiator.

Got to get it up on the ramps to identify which part I need.

Due to a imminent house move time is tight at the moment.  :pissed:
