Hi, just joined. Had my X Type which is 06 2.2d SE since October last year and really pleased. So comfy, pulls like a train and good mpg. Only trouble (so far) lol is I've just had to buy a new battery but believe this was still on the original so it's not done too badly!  Love this car and looking forward to some 'great times' with her ! Alan.

Welcome to the Club, Alan.

The X Type is a fine car - I had a 2.5 litre AWD Petrol before getting my S Type.

Jaguars do like fully functioning batteries, and if you get 5 years from a battery you are going OK.
