Hi Tim

No, nothing done yet, waiting for the weather to get a bit warmer, hopefully may / June-ish, then this and the other bits I'm doing will all be revealed!

I've opted for spray paint (gloss) as I don't have very steady hands unfortunately, so will be using masking tape, which I think is going to be a bit of a pain! trying to get curved shapes, from straight edged tape, doable of course, just a bit of a faff

Morning Steve,

waiting is probably a good idea, can i recommend you use 3m blue tape, it has a softer glue so it won't make any damage and its easer to cut and shape, it is more expensive but worth it in the long run

Cheers Tim

Thanks for the advice, i'll take a look at it, although I have all the bits and pieces ready for the work ahead, axle stands / ramps etc for the back boxes

Paint brushes / paint for the engine bay bit, and of course for the chrome boot strip, at some point i'll be changing the CD / Radio you may have read my post on this topic

Guy's

I was outside having a smoke and cuppa earlier, and was looking at her (as you do of course) another idea popped into my mind. What about spraying the whole chrome piece Black but leave the lettering as is? whilst at it, spray the S Type badge and the 3.0  badge as well (added after the pic was taken)

Any thoughts?

Shame,

Found out recently my Omega V6 also died, over heated I'm told, both me and the Boss! Loved that car

Hi Steve,

When my wife was made redundant [and it was unfair] my elder son who is an archaeologist needed a car so he "borrowed" his Mum's car. and it was the big mileage it did in two years he had it cause it to die. But it worked well for a little car wth a 1.18 litre engine.

The next car she had was this one.

Hi Peter

I've seen that before from a previous post of yours, clearly your good lady, has a liking for sporty little numbers, hence her liking for your S Type!
