Wipers runs too fast

Hello. I have a problem with my wipers. Sometimes, in both gears(speeds) runs at the same speed. The fast one. Did any of you had this problem before? Thanks

Then mine are on auto sometimes they just switch to full speed for no reason.

The auto wipers on the s type are the worst I have come across, must of the time they are wipeing the screen then it's not needed.

Simon, I think you muist be unlucky. The auto wipers on my S-Type work precisely as the handbook suggests.

I wonder whether they need calibrating perhaps?

Mine works precisely but the problem is the speed. Sometimes runs at full speed even if they are in the first gear.

Again Vlad, I think there is a re-calibration routine that can be done by a dealer, indie, or somebody who has the Mongoose equipment.

As do mine - always on auto.  When they speed up, I can usually see the reason.
