Hi, just bought my first Jag as I am giving up my company car; paying too much tax!!  It's a 2008 X-Type 2.2D SE Auto Saloon.  I will spend the last 6 months before redundancy and retirement enjoying the drive to and from work.  And, one of my Christmas presents is to drive 3 laps round the Chobham Test Track in a F-Type R!!!!!

Welcome to the club, Barrie.

Company cars can be a pain.  My employer [when I was still working] gave the option to have a Toyota Prius about 4 years after  I retired.

I think you will enjoy the Jaguar experience.
