Turbo ?

Just got car back from the garage having both egr valves and  dpf changed ,and noticed a high pitched whistle that gets higher when you Rev the engine .any ideas ..?its a 2.7 deisal

I would first check all pipework and hoses that may have been disturbed are correctly fitted and also have not been damaged.  Assuming you had no such noise before the work was carried out it is hopefully just something simple.

Are there any other symptoms such as uneven idle, performance loss etc?

IT appears to be blowing from the front of the dpf.but runs very well no performance issues,taking it back tomorrow for them to look at
