XF jacking pad

Purchased a jacking point pad to aid the jacking of my XF with a trolley jack, ( just in case ) Weather it would fit other Jaguar models I know not, but well worth checking out !

I try not to raise my car from the sills, I allways lift the car where the subframe mounting points are, I also used a 1" thick rubber pad on my trolley jack

you can also keep the area your lifting waxoyled up, so it wont corrode in the future

its  more solid place of lifting the car and doing less damage, the sills is only usually for emergency use, with the jack in the boot, for wheel change only

The pad in the picture, protects the seam of the sill, but if used on the s-type, it will crush the plastic sill cover and also the plastic floor cover aswell, not sure on the xf though

Thanks for your advice re jacking the car by the sill seams ( I'll heed the warning ) 

Bought it on a whim and thought it was a good idea at the time.
