Hello Dennis, welcome to the Jaguar Owners Club

If you slide the CDC door fully open and look carefully along the right hand edge of the cartridge you will probably see one of the CD trays jammed half in and half out of the cassette.

Whilst repeatedly pressing the release button, gently tap the CDC with the handle of a screwdriver at the point where the C D tray is jammed. This should produce just sufficient shock to release the jammed CD tray and allow it to retract fully into the cartridge, which will then eject.

Hi Dennis,

Just to add to what Paul has said - the ignition should be switched on.  This catches a lot of us old Rover drivers out1

Peter.
