I would think that's a Jaguar main dealer Job! I cant see them being able to resolve with your car at home, so it may have to be picked up, its a phone call to confirm

Perhaps a mobile Auto locksmith, AA / RAC? just a couple of other random thoughts

regards

Steve

Toni.

You have already asked this in another thread.

Further, you have apparently already started breaking the car.

Not at all sure what you are hoping to achieve?

Thanks for the update Toni

It all makes sense now.

I hope you can sort it out. Would much rather see a car than a pile of bits

It's a pity you aren't closer to me. I could at least put the diagnostics on and get a clue. In my (limited) experience, a great many of these security type problems can be dealt with by a software tweak.

I've just had a look online at the add/ids you mentioned , I have some discs that came with the car not sure what's on them.

So do I need someone with the piece of kit mentioned online to do it hope that makes sense :)

It is a dealership tool Toni, but your local indie will have it as do some of the enthusiasts on this forum, amongst others. You need the software but also the appropriate hardware, in my case a Mongoose adaptor.

I think it might be the software on tbe disc I have I'm guessing a dealer will charge arm and leg 🤔 For this as I  can't get the car to anyone need them to be mobile,

il have alook online tomorrow see if I can find anything local il keep you posted and thank you for all your advice 😊

Most dealers will put your car on the diagnostics for 0.5 hours labour charge Toni, average £80. You could also get any customer preferences set as well.

An indie would do so for less and might be prepared to visit. Or maybe somebody on the forum local to you might be willing to help?
