Hi All.

Well, I've just gone and bought myself a jag, and to be honest I'm loving it.

It's a 2007 S type 2.7 TD sport in grey with two tone light/dark grey leather interior.

It's my first jag, and I'm beginning to realise I should have bought one years ago.

Looking forward to learning more from, and contributing to, the forum in the future.

Cheers

Mark

Welcome to the Jaguar Owners Club Mark.

Sounds like a nice car you have there. I too am driving my first Cat and I too wish I'd started years ago.

Hi Mark,

You have the same model as I do - with the same interior.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of the S type over the past three years and I think you will too.

I hope you enjoy the club, too.

Regards,

Peter.

Hi Mark,

The interior on mine only differs from the Maple dashboard and the wooden steering wheel.

Thank you for the welcome.

How are you getting on with the jag? If you're like me you can't help grinning like a Cheshire cat when driving around...

Beautifully quiet and smooth, and cannot get over the performance for a diesel, feels as quick as my Saab Aero!!! ,  but had a few issues. Bottom hose went, the long metal one, so had to be piggy backed with the RAC. I sometimes get a restricted performance issue which clears by switching off and back on. I have it booked in for a major service and cambelt change tomorrow so hope it will cure it, or at least tell me the problem. Really don't know why I haven't bought one before, this ones a keeper.

Hoping to retro fit voice and bluetooth as my car does not have it.

Hi GaryE.

I'm sorry to hear you've had a few issues, and from your other post referring to the service and cam belt change farce, you're still having them. Hope it all gets resolved soon and you can start smiling again.
