Hello, I'm new to the site and haven't yet bought my Jaguar. It will be an old XJ of some sort.

I will be asking questions so thanks for any help in advance.

Thanks Peter. I'm looking for one that I can use every day. Something under £1000 but I'm not sure of regular issues so I have put an advice request on the XJ page.

I saw that James, and now that you have indicated the year, I am sure there will be members who will come up with some advice.

Personally, I am an S type fan, and they are also worth looking at for a daily drive.
