Hi Everyone  i have just brought a 99 plate S type 79k it has a slight leak on the Water pump appears not to affect the level in the coolant bottle  Any ideas how much it would cost and where the best place to take it i live near Bedford

Hi Steve, and welcome to the Club.

The water pump on my S Type 2.7D [07 failed a couple of weeks of weeks ago.

The replacement cost £70 and my mobile mechanic fitted it  --  Total £150.

Look out for a good garage rather than going go to a main dealer.
