I have just completed a trip to Ireland , Moffat to Stranraer,ferry to Belfast down to Dublin and across to Galway City and backs total of 723 miles.The Jaguar behaved impeccably I think I will keep it the car returned 56.5 miles per gallon.However the sat nav is no use.I sat in a taxi rank in central Dublin and tried to find my hotel in O'Connel street just across the road from the iconic GPO, the sat nav instructed me to turn left and drive for 131 miles.I have retired the sat navy and now use my I Phone.

Hi Wat, 

That's the Irish in the SatNav.  It wanted you to see more of that lovely country.

We had a great trip last year, Liverpool to Dublin then across the Galway.  The Sat Nav did OK without postcodes.
