Having owned my 2015 Jaguar XK R-Sport Black 2.2 for 5 months I must say it is the best looking car I have ever driven, unfortunately that is where the love affair ends. The car feels very under powered at low revs, pulls away from standstill pretty well but seems to have very poor torque when travelling and has a very noticeable 'lag' before delivering any power when you are setting off from a rolling start, it just doesn't feel right. It is due to go into Jaguar to see if they can find the problem, if they tell me this is normal for this model I think I have made a very expensive mistake by moving to Jaguar from BMW , it may look fantastic but I'm afraid that's just not good enough. Has anyone else had similar problem with this model? I would appreciate any feedback on this before I take it in.

Try it in Trac DSC mode - really livens things up and does away with the lag when pulling away.

A 3 second press on the DSC button will suffice. I just would not turn DSC off altogether (by holding the button down for about 10 seconds) - it might become a little bit TOO lively !
