Hi all. Just bought my first jag. A 2004 x type 2.0 diesel saloon on a private plate. Really pretty car! Had it 5 days when the bolts in the drivers side engine mounting sheared which caused the engine to drop and take out a drive shaft!! All fixed under warranty now though. Very happy!

Welcome to the club, Tim.

The value of a warranty is more than just some peace of mind.

The 2.0 litre D in the X type is a rather good engine and has stood the test of time.

You will enjoy the comfort and the fact that your visits to fill up the tank will be fewer.
