Hi Everybody

Hope I'm doing this right. I'm a newbie.

A careless road user has smashed my driver side door mirror beyond repair. I have obtained a replacement but don't know how to fit it. Presume I have to remove door panel, door catch and/or corner window trim. A step by step guide to removal of relevant bits would be much appreciated. All I know is I have to get access to four bolts from the inside.

Many thanks for your assistance

Thanks Russ. Looks like take off the door catch surround, undo two screws in the door pull and pop out the panel clips around right hand side and bottom of panel, then lift off. Mirror bolts and wiring connector is exposed.

Wowzer! Thanks very much.

When pulling the door card away from the door, start at the top, nearest the hinge. If you start from the bottom you are almost certain to rip the door card.

Have you bought the correct replacement? For example, memory or non memory, powerfold or non powerfold?

Hi Guys

Delighted to say new mirror installed. All working well. Only problem was a 10mm flange nut dropped inside the door. Will source a replacement when I find out the spec and who's got one. Thanks for everything.
