Hi Guys

I know this subject has been covered before but I am having trouble with my S type (Denso) sat nav.

I have several discs from two different sources but when inserted, I keep getting the message "This is not a map dvd" and will not load.

Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

Hi Joe

At £25 on eBay they are obviously copies but saying that, they have loaded before.

Even the one that came with the car and was working fine albeit well out of date, will not load.

I am not sure it sounds like the disc. I believe that some of the earlier models only accept Cd rather than the later DVD. I got some £25 copies of the 2012 version from eBay for my 2007 XJ which I believe  has the same system as the S type and they loaded ok.
