Okay so it's getting a bit misty where I live but on my way home one in four cars has there fog lights on :wallbash:  Visibility was about half a mile. I don't get it. Nearly all the drivers didn't know how to use the front fogs correctly as well. Bugs me and whist I'm on the subject why drive with the front fogs on when there is no fog at all?  Rant over.

I agree horrible dazzly things when they are not needed, worse when ground is wet, I cant see why people feel the need to use them at the slightest bit off mist.

Also on the same subject why do people need to dazzle you with their main beam , If their night vision is that poor don't drive at night

The 07 plate S type does not have front fog lights fitted -- so no problem there.

The worst offenders seem to be those who don't understand that they need to adjust their headlights when they have a loaded boot.

Hi

Just lately I've noticed the most dazzling cars with lights seem to be BMW's, Mercedes and Nissan's all under 3 years old

the lights on them, are much blue'r and allways seem to dazzle me

cheers

It's actually illegal here in Oz to drive with fog lights on unless the weather is bad enough to warrant them..

Its illegal in the UK as well, unless there is fog or falling snow. Like lots of other motoring laws here there is no one to enforce them.
