Hi Chaps

Now that winter is upon us and frosty mornings are the norm I have noticed a problem or rather inconvenience with my Jag xf premium luxury in so far as  when unlocking the mirrors do not turn out . They seem to be prone to freezing up although a splash of hot water does the trick. Has anyone else experienced similar problems, if so any useful tips, I was thinking of spraying with WD 40.

Wishing everyone a happy new year

Hi

I'd start with wd40 and then some normal Oil, as most of the wd40 evaporates

If its frozen, then there's moisture in there, plenty of Oil should sort it

put some towel's under the mirror, they will drip Oil for a bit

cheers

Joe

Go menu then security / vehicle and turn the folding mirrors off..Plus don't forget to turn off auto wipers by clicking the stalk down
