At the risk of starting a very boring topic has anyone else had an issue with corrosion on their wheel locking nuts ? To me it is really annoying ( I know I need to get out more).

When my car was under 3 years old my locking nuts were really rusty and spoils the look of my Jag, so I brought this up with the dealer who said these werent covered under warranty, so relucantly I bought new ones, yet within 3 months these are also starting to show signs of rust.

This to me seems really poor for any car manufacturer. The answer may be to simply replace them with normal nuts as my wheels aren't anything special. In the interim I am now oiling them to try and slow the corrosion down.

Alternatively you can try stainless steel from Halfords for about £40
