2007 S -type gone into limp mode, RAC been out and suggest that one of the sensor either side of PDF has failed. Guidance please

Hi

If there's more than one sensor, then the OBD fault codes will state which one has failed

you will need to plug in and get the fault code to know which one

had a quick look at wiring diagram and there is only one DPF pressure sensor on the s-type

DPF pressure sensor

the DPF pressure sensor basically looks at the pressure going into the DPF, when the pressure get up to a certain pressure it starts a regen of the DPF
