Just joined & need some advice. We have had the S-Type since new (2007) & my wife & I both still love the car. It's done just over 24,000 miles and is unmarked. We have the car serviced by the local Jaguar dealer who, at the last service advised that a 'scuttle panel screw cover' is missing. After a lot of searching I've discovered that what it's called in the service manual is a 'Cowl Panel Grille Retaining Screw Cover' (see Photo). I have a suspicion that the cover may have got lost during the service at the dealers, as I'm certain that I would have noticed its absence before, however I can't prove it, so I'll need to source a replacement. Does anyone know the part number and/or where I can get one from, avoiding the ridiculous prices that Jaguar OEM parts cost?
