good morning all,

i am a new member. (JUST JOINED)

1 have a problem with my detroit alloy wheels.

i had them refurbished about a year ago and after a about 2 months i started getting a clicking noise from the wheels.

i have had the hand brake serviced (thinking that was the problem) and still clicking from the wheels.

has anyone had this problem?

Hi

Have a good look round them

Have you tried jacking each wheel up and spinning them

I've seen it where people have caught the disc shroud and that's catching the disc, making a click noise when you turn corners

also check for clearance between wheel and caliper, also any balancing weights, also front lower ball joints have a heat shield on them , that can catch the disc, also check rear hand brake cable are not catching the wheels, also check clearance between wheel and shocker, can be close sometimes if wheels have wrong off set

cheers

Joe
